I am you. I am beyond frustrated with [fill in the blank]. I’m tired of sitting back and watching. I’m done with the worldwide rat race where we’ve all become ignorant, with each class misunderstanding their privilege to the classes in their shadow. I’m done working for ‘the man’ and am ready to go full-time working for The Mankind.

My bad. That’s fair. Here’s the thing, I’m doing this anonymously for two reasons: 1) This isn’t about me. This is about people who deserve a break. I just hope to kickstart a movement where we all become “The Will” of the people. 2) I will be able to do much more behind the scenes, and give credit to hard working people, by staying anonymous.

Maybe. But I plan on being in the public eye, just as Willionaire. Doing Reddit AMAs, interviews, etc. are all on the table for sure. And if we hit the goal of $7.8 billion, then I’ll officially unmask myself in a public venue.

This one is tough. I’ll answer that with an anecdote. I had two influential people in my life give me completely contrarian takes on people who ask for money on the streets. Person A sadly told me that ‘you can never trust a homeless person’ and to donate to real causes. Person B told me that it’s not up to us to worry about what they will or won’t do, but to always assume the best in humanity. So if you approach this like you’re giving me $1, $5 or $10 on the street, just know that I’m using it to try and heal this broken world because of people like Person A.

If you’re asking this question, it means you haven’t spent much time in the non-profit / charity industry. Unfortunately, a huge chunk of donations go to overhead, management, HR costs, and are often times abused. Not all the time, for sure, but a lot. I plan on this always being a solo operation where I will work tirelessly to distribute the funds in the right way. It’s not a business. It’s not a charity or a non-profit. This is me getting 7 billion gifts from the world and then giving it right back.

I have spent most of my adult life looking to do something bigger. I have enough money to retire but not enough money to do this on my own. And I don’t see any reason why I should be able to relax on a beach while people around the world live in panic and fear. Just because I was born into privilege doesn’t mean I feel privileged. If anything, it’s the opposite. I feel obligated to do everything I can to bring one thing to the world: Joy.

If you’re reading this, it’s likely you have a relatively better life than 90% of the world. This only works at scale, so you don’t have to worry about how much is raised; that’s my job. But just ask yourself if you have $1 to spare, or $2 to cover you and someone else in the world who can’t. If you do, then send that gift! If you don’t, then hopefully you’re one of the ones that will benefit from this campaign.

That’s a very generous question. And don’t worry, I’ve done all the heavy lifting for you. According to latest US tax laws, you can send gifts of up to $15k annually per recipient without needing to report it on your taxes. But if you want to pay Gift Tax, then by all means please keep it coming! Having been around a lot of super-rich folks, I know that they struggle to help friends & family because it becomes a slippery slope of financial support.
